We specified AQURON 2000 for the Te Awa basement car park, located in The Base Hamilton. AQURON 2000 was used for curing and durability, providing a long-term finish that looks great.
This anti-dusting sealer prevents water ingress through the concrete itself, reducing the risk of leaks and corrosion stains, as well as increasing the service life of the car park concrete.
The sheen that is visible in the photos is a function of the sealer, increasing with wear, not decreasing. It does not need to be regularly reapplied, another advantage of using a penetrating sealer rather than a topical coating.
This system is known as the INFRA-TECT system, suiting any concrete that is exposed. The treatment is compatible with any further paints that are compatible with concrete, so it will not need to be removed for line markings to be applied, saving the builder a lot of money at the end of the project.
Being a sealer that penetrates, it doesn’t contribute to the tyre squeal that is often heard in car parks.
