Green Street Car Park in Jersey was an example of how hydrogel durability systems can be used on existing concrete, not just new concrete.
When the States of Jersey carried out a major renovation on this inner-city multi-storey car park, they specified AQURON 7000 colloidal silica hydrogel treatment to 13,000m2 to control chloride levels and mitigate corrosion on the decks and façade panels. The rapid application of this treatment saved significant disruption for the car park operators.
This is part of the CIVIL-TECT system, extending infrastructure service life, and reducing continual maintenance costs.
