When concrete is used to line an aperture in the ground, there will be the risk of moisture penetration and water seepage – depending on the specific environment. Examples of this situation would include basements, lift shafts, water infrastructure, and service pits of all kinds.

CONQOR IG200 two-part hydrophilic treatment system is used, by injection, to seal cracks and seepage areas. The system is not dependent on the quality of the environment. Its hydrophilic nature means that its effectiveness is actually enhanced when challenged by moisture ingress.
The CONQOR IG200 crack sealing system’s unique features include:
- No need for dry conditions – due to the hydrophilic feature of IG200, water is absorbed not displaced by the gel. When in contact with water the gel will swell and hence maintain a condition of maximum expansion.
- Non-toxic, non-flammable, solvent-free, and low odour.
- Suitable in salt water, fresh water, wastewater, or permanently damp environments.
- Resistant to mould, fungi, bacteria, and most acids and alkalis.
- Can be applied underwater.
- Non-corrosive.
- Insoluble in water or petroleum-based solvents, once in gel form.
- Thermal resistance from -30°C to 70°C.
Typical Applications
CONQOR IG200 treatment applications include but are not limited to:
- Any below-ground or water-retaining concrete structure where there is potential water ingress – tunnels, dam walls, underground car parks, water tanks, swimming pools, retaining walls, septic tanks, lift pits, curtain walls etc.
- Preventing water migration – through concrete cracks, expansion joints, construction joints, control joints and cold joints.
- Sealing cracks in concrete – to prevent moisture, chemical or solid contaminant ingress and the resultant adverse issues.
Complimentary Treatments
